The region of East Gobi – YAMANSU has been proven that there are more than ten kinds of metals and non-metallic minerals. The most famous of recent years is East Gobi molybdenum. By a variety of results of geology, geophysics, geochemistry, remote sensing and other work achieved in recent years, the region shows a good exploration prospect. For this reason, it is essential to carry out a comprehensive regional geological survey of 1:50 000 to deepen and fill the lack of large-scale biography, study the law of regional metallogenic, and carry out metallogenic prediction and prepare for ore concentration area exploration. This paper relies on the project of the 1:50 000 regional geological comprehensive survey in East Gobi – YAMANSU of Hami, Xinjiang".By carrying 1:50,000 geological mapping in th study as well as carrying out 1: 10,000 geological mapping in key areas, the regional stratigraphic has been subdivided, the combination between rock strata and spatial and temporal characteristics has been identified and improved stratigraphic division accuracy for regional comparisons and research; By conducting a careful investigation of the main structural features(folds, fracture) which limit the boundary of tectonic units, identify the basic fault morphology, size, occurrence and fold structure and scale was investigated. Study the tectonic and magmatic activity, relationship metamorphism and deformation of rock minerals and summary the effects of main ore-controlling. In addition, combined with geophysical, geochemical, remote sensing and other means to the comprehensive analysis of the research area, it can be summarized as about the study area metallogenic conditions: mineralization age of molybdenum deposits is mainly in the Middle Triassic Late Variscan; the impact of the fault mainly provide access and storage space for hydrothermal ore; Mineralization igneous rocks have multiple phases, mainly closes to Ⅰ series porphyry, and showed the characteristics of mineralization in front of magma..
