The scattering wave is a generalized seismic waves, and the conditions of the scattering wave in underground geological structure is universal. The Scattered wave imaging method is proposed for the problem of complex underground geological structure which traditional reflection method is difficult to solve. Therefore it has important practical significance and application prospect. Research on scattered wave is also a current frontier topic in the field of seismic exploration.First of all, the paper reviewed the theory of scattering wave imaging generally, and then studied the method of scattering wave imaging which relied on the Common Scattering Point(CSP) gathers based on the concept of equivalent offset systematically. And I have written a program to extract the CSP gathers and an anther program for scattered wave imaging which is based on the equivalent offset migration(EOM), at the same time brought the idea of weighted superposition into the program. In addition, considering the engineering technical requirements of the small spacing CSP gathers high-density information, increased isometric encryption sampling function of the CSP gather.Secondly, the paper according to the characteristics of different geological structure to build model and the seismic record forward numerical simulation; Relying on the comparative analysis on the processing results of the traditional reflection and scattering imaging methods, to discuss the influence of the final image result made by the key parameters(such as velocity, the equivalent offset aperture and the equivalent offset step length, etc.) of the scattering imaging. And then give advice for the engineering using of the program of the EOM scattering imaging method and the selection of the parameter.Finally, in order to test the effectiveness of EOM scattering wave imaging method software, implemented the complex wave field scattering wave imaging test research on classical seismic geological Marmousi model data. On this basis, further choose the mid-deep long seismic profile data(44km) in the GuanZhong area to complete the measured data processing research work. The results show that EOM scattering imaging method is especially suitable for the low SNR data imaging processing requirements, and can effectively improve quality of deep complex structure imaging data.The theory premise of Scattered wave imaging technology is closer to the actual situation. Although the scattering theory is put forward for a long time, it is still in the exploratory stage in solving a problem in actual production. With the continuous development of technology, Scattered wave imaging technology will also be improved, which provides great help for the seismic processing.
