Study On The Location Public Parking Lot Based On Spatial Analysis Methods

Because of the continuous development of cities,continually expand the scale of cities,the constantly improving standard of urban motorization,thus the demand of the urban traffic parking also increases rapidly,so that the problem of the urban parking is becoming more and more serious.Cities are generally have the problems of parking facilities unbalanced supply and demand,unreasonable layout,the unbalance ratio in the each type of parking problem.Therefor,to deal with the problem of parking facilities is the most important part of parking lot planning layout.Thus,expanding of the existing or building new public parking is imminent,however the key to planning of the parking facilities that whose scale and construction plays a major irreplaceable role.With the rapid development of GIS,the city GIS applied to many aspects of the economic construction,but rarely used in city social public parking’s location problem.First, this article introduces the fundamental and application of GIS,and then analyze the influence factor of parking demand on the base of predecessors’ research.Introduces the several parking demand forecasting models and enumerates several kinds of effects of public parking’s location problem and three kinds of public parking locating tradition models. We get the shortcomings and advantages through comparing the traditional location method to the GIS applied in public parking location method.Further more puts forward the optimal location model and all the interest points to the functional areas of the shortest path for the smallest location model based on GIS spatial analysis.Second,this article select the Honggutan,Nanchang,Jiangxi province data as an example,put forward the spatial AHP model,and using ARCGIS 10.0 software.Through integrated use of GIS network analysis,buffer analysis,overlay analysis and network analysis,influencing factors on site selection of public parking lots for objective selection.It assesses the berth requirements in this city through population density and the nature of land.By comparing the experimental output with berth assessment,the thesis verifies the feasibility of the technical program.GIS spatial analysis method used in public parking site has great advantage.The research conclusions of this paper is mainly to test public parking location based GIS spatial analysis of scientific and feasible.That can provides a reference for future planning and for research of technical ideas.
