Research And Application Of Noise Attenuation For Seismic Data

Noise suppression is an eternal topic in the process of seismic data processing,although there are a lot of software and module for noise suppression,when we use them,they often can not reach the expected effect. During the internship in Research institute of coal geophysical exploration of china national administration of coal geology,the author have engaged in seismic data processing work for more than a year,analyzed and compared the effect of the method and related software modules.For the pre-stack seismic data, it includes that as below. For outliers, strong pulse,square wave or additional abnormal channels, we can remove them; we use adaptive surface wave attenuation to decay surface waves which have some differences with reflected waves in the frequency, when the surface waves have low-frequency, low-speed,and regularity, the local filter which allow high frequency past is also possible; For single-frequency interference waves, it is best in the time domain; NOISE modules in CGG software is more better for acoustic suppression; Wild Amp Atten module in Geoeast software is more better for energy interference suppression; for the linear noise interference,Lin Noi Remv module in Geoeast software is better, when the variation of speed range is little,the modules SIEVE in CGG software is better; we use parabolic Radon transform to eliminate multiple wave; we can use Geoeast software modules Pre Stk RNA2 D and Pre Stk RNA3 D to attenuate pre-stack random noise in CMP domain.The methods for attenuating noise in which we achieve a joint of multi-domain 、 a combination of a variety of approach as well as multiple iterations is feasible and effective,and we have summed up the basic processes of attenuating noise for pre-stack seismic.For the after-stack seismic data, mainly random noise attenuation, RNA module and Poly Fit module in Geoeast software all have achieved better results, typically the two modules in series works best.Based on the above research conclusion, we deal with the seismic data of Yangmei using the approach which mentioned above,whether before or after the stack, and whether in shot record or superimposed on the profile, the treatment effect is fine.
