Xiarihamu copper polymetallic mine is located in the western part of the East Kunlun orogenic belt, the southern margin of the Qaidam Basin. In order to study Xiarihamu`s geological characteristics, we began with analyzing the regional geological characteristics of the deposit via analyzing mine geological geophysical anomalies and geochemical anomalies.In order to study the ore structure and chemical composition as well as the mineral composition, I also use other research methods such as microscopic analysis and electron probe. Thus leads to the conclusion that taxitic structure and star-like structure are much like to be seen in Cu-Ni ores.While star-like structure and mottling structure,sparse disseminated structure and massive structure are much like to be seen in chalcopyrite.By using geochemical data and major elements data and microelements data of ultrabasic complex,it is found that there was crust material mixing process in the magmatic rock evolution process.In the end,by analysing the geologic characteristics of Xiarihamu mine,it is believed that Xiarihamu copper polymetallic mine was formed in early devonian and it is a typical magma melting-injection deposit.
