The fatigue damage problem has become one of the main reasons for engineering structures and mechanical failure since it was found. In practice, random loading often leads to fatigue damage in mechanical structure. Based on the natural frequency of structure, the random load spectrum is divided into low frequency load spectrum, resonance frequency load spectrum and high frequency load spectrum. Fatigue damage in structure caused by resonance frequency load spectrum is far greater than those caused by low frequency load spectrum and high frequency load spectrum. Based on frequency domain method, structure vibration fatigue analysis is conducted in this essay. The emphases is the research on the equivalence of vibration fatigue caused by resonance frequency load spectrum in structure.Based on MSC. Patran & Nastran and Fatigue simulation software platform, the structure model is established and dynamic analysis and vibration Fatigue analysis are carried out. On the basis of simulation, necessary values of the parameters are solved. Program using frequency domain method to solve the vibration fatigue life is compiled in Matlab. Comparison between program result and simulation value verifies the accuracy of the program. Research on vibration fatigue in structure under the effect of resonance frequency load spectrum is conducted. Finally fairing stent system is the example used to verify the equivalence between resonance frequency load spectrum and full frequency load spectrum in analysis of vibration fatigue.
