With the increasing of geological exploration’s degree, the surface deposits, the shallow deposits have gradually reduced, geological exploration’s direction have transformed to the deep deposits and concealed deposits gradually. Therefore, methods of geological exploration continuously updated. Since the multi-phase multi-stage and the complexity of the geological process in mineralization and result in geological data records tend to have characteristics of nonlinear and non-stationary, lead to the traditional such as geostatistical methods and Fourier transform data processing methods are not suitable for this kinds of geological data. How can extract faint, low and difficult to identified anomalies information in geological prospecting from the non-stationary and non-linear geological data, is a vital aspect of mineral exploration and evaluation of mineral resources work in recent years.:In this paper, through BEMD (Bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition) method to extracting anomaly information about Inner Mongolia Ha Shi Tu two elements of W and Mo, and obtained the local and regional anomaly map of the two elements. Using the "density- area (C-A)" fractal method to make sure the lower limit of their anomaly, combined with HA Shi Tu mining area geological background, metallogenic characteristics and existing deposits, circle the most favorable districts and their evaluation. The conclusion of the study are as follows:(1)Principles and implementation process of the bi-dimensional empirical mode decomposition(BEMD) is defined by their own filter to deep decompose anomalies in complex geological elements. Regional anomaly map and local anomaly map obtained by this method can explain the relative distribution of W and Mo to certain extent in the study area.(2) The distribution of W and Mo in the anomaly area is mainly controlled by the acidic intrusive rocks of Yanshan period, provided the ore-forming hydrothermal fluid and the mineralization of power source for mineralization. In addition, the area of the NE trending fault and its secondary fissure also are more developed around. Provide a good space for the later element enrichment and mineralization, also is the main migrational passages. Part of the anomaly area shows that its controled by the above two factors, in the features of the main controlled by rock and supplemented by fault.
