The exploration and development of the oil field in the west of Jing Bian have made advances,but the changes of the sand spread are quick,the quality of reservoir is not so homogeneous,at the same time the exploration in the study area is very hard,so the primary misson at perent is to make clear about the main reservoir deposition condition,the reservoir features and the distribution of the superior seam,and to improve the macro grasp about the main reservoir deposition features of Yan’an and Yan Chang to offer geological support for next five years’ plan and exploration development of the oil field in Jing Bian.Jing Bian oil refinery in the west of the main area of the target layer generally exhibits a wide gentle EW monoclinic structure, east to the west, the longitudinal nose structure has some inheritance, yet to see faults.Under the guidance of the basic theory, the use of core, logging and analysis of all relevant laboratory data to study the sedimentary characteristics of the western region, reservoir properties, microscopic pore structure, heterogeneity and other characteristics, and storage layer classification and evaluation, analysis of the merits of the controlling factors of reservoir, reservoir characteristics and hydrocarbon accumulation relations were discussed, and finally, in the known effective reservoir emphasis on anatomy, analysis and distribution of effective reservoir predict favorable reservoir distribution.Studies have shown that: Distribution of area oil reservoir is mainly controlled by sedimentary microfacies, thickness, porosity, permeability good reservoir sediment deposition in which sand facies are closely related. At the same time,the original sediment composition, particle size, sorting and clay content are sedimentary facies and sediments which also has a close relationship. That sedimentary facies control the spatial distribution of the size distribution of sand body, the study area groups each reservoir sand distribution trends and sedimentary facies distribution consistent trend.
