Nuomin region is located in the eastern slope of the main ridge of the Great Xing’an Range, which is in the southeast edge of Xing’an block. The geotectonic position belongs to southeastern Siberia plate of Xingmeng geosynclinal, northern section of Neiwuqi-Zhalantun volcanic type passive continental margin( third-level tectonic element)in Mesozoic volcanic rock area of the Great Xing’an Range, and Duobaoshan –A’rongqi Variscan Cu-Mo-Au Ⅳ grade mineralization subzone. The research area has a superior copper-molybdenum mineralization geological conditions, but has a lower lever of work, so in order to identify the mineral resources in this area, in the paper, based on analyzing and researching 1:50000 integrated information systematically of the geological,geophysical, geochemical, remote sensing and mineral, we select the favorable metallogenic prospective areas and prospecting targets and indicate the direction of the prospecting work in the future.The strata exposed that the region are mainly Cretaceous Ganhe formation(K1g(3))and Quaternary sediments. The Late Jurassic biotite syenite granite and biotite monzonite granite are the main rock body in the studied area. Early Cretaceous monzonite porphyry( 130.64 ± 0.74Ma)- quartz monzonite porphyry- monzonite diorite are of great significance to the formation of porphyry molybdenum deposit. The faulted system of thestudied area is composed of NW、NE、NNE、NEE、NNW and NWW faults, and the distribution of mineral deposits occurs mainly in NE and NW trending faults.Based on 1:50000 stream sediment survey, the survey area has evidently abnormal element assemblage. The most significant abnormal element assemblage is Mo-Cu-W-Bi and Ag-Au, and molybdenum mineralization has a direct relationship with the higher level of Mo.Remote sensing image interpreted that circular structure and linear structure are well developed, NE、NW、nearly East-West and nearly North-South linear structures constitute the basic structure pattern of the area.According to the study of 1:50000 synthetic information in Nuomin area, we summarizes and analysis the metallogenic prediction information of geological condition of mineralization, geophysics, geochemistry and remote sensing interpretation, we make a metallogenic prognosis and delineate 4 different grade prospects which contain 1 point grade Ⅰof Cu-Mo, 1 point grade Ⅱ of Cu-Mo, and 1 point grade Ⅲ of Ag. Combined with the evaluation of prospective areas for ore prospecting potential, this paper selects 4forecast area of grade Ⅰfor the ore prospecting target area.
