Kuche depression in Tarim Basin is an important gas source for the west east gas transmission. At present, a large number of oil and gas exploration in the region has been carried out, and the results have been obtained. However, with the area of oil and gas resources are mainly concentrated in the western part of the depression, in the Kelasu structure. Depression in the eastern part of the only found a large oil and gas fields, in depression in the eastern part of the oil and gas resources diversity, conventional oil and natural gas and non conventional oil and natural gas joint development, structure types, underground geological conditions are changing is the key area of oil and gas exploration and breakthrough in the region. The focus of this paper is to strike slip fault development as the starting point, systematic study of the strike slip faults and Kuqa depression depression in the eastern part of the characteristics of the geological structure, the development of trap types and oil and gas distribution.Comprehensive application of 3D and 2D seismic data, drilling data, geological outcrop data, satellite photos and gravity, magnetic and electric information, Kuqa depression of Tarim basin depression the eastern section of the geological structure and characteristics and fracture distribution and stratigraphic distribution of the system research.
