Fine Reservoir Description Of Chang-2 Reservoir Of Laocaowan Area In Zichang Oilfield

Yujiaping-Wangjiawan area of Zichang oilfield is located in Zichang county of shanxi province. Its tectonic location is the Shanbei slope of the east Ordos Basin. The Chang-2 member of the Yanchang formation is the main producing oil layer. In order to improve oilfield development level and enhance oil recovery, we have to improve the level of reservoir description.According to the development situation and practical data, this paper conducts the study on fine reservoir description of Chang-2 reservoir of Laocaowan Area, taking reservoir geology, t sedimentary petrology, logging geology and some other related discipline theory as the guide.Static reservoir geological model is established taking use of Petrel 2007 Software of Schlumberger Ltd, and the reservoir synthetic classification and evaluation is carried on to provide full theory basis for further scientific oilfield development.Based on the study on fine reservoir description and reservoir geological modeling of Chang-2 Reservoir of Laocaowan Area and combined with practical production and dynamic analysis, some suggestions are put forward for further development of Laocaowan Area: strength the development of Type II and III reservoir in studied area, take reasonable technical measures to enhance the oil recovery; In order to improve the development effect, in the process of oilfield development we should take full account of the characters and effects of the reservoir plane heterogeneity and vertical distribution to design the injection well pattern more reasonably.
