This paper takes “Fengdan Village” construction project of Hongqi Street in Ganjingzi District of Dalian City as the background, the stability and treatment measures of the eastern slope of Daba Mountain formed for engineering construction are deeply studied. It presents the corresponding research results on whether internal structural changing will cause another sliding, and whether excavation in slope foot will cause the stability change, and treatment program against slope failure and other issues.Collecting hydrological, meteorological and seismic activity information through field geological survey in Eastern slope of Daba Mountain, combining engineering survey instruments, the topography, geological structure, lithology and other aspects of slope engineering geological characteristics are studied in terms of slope stability. The distribution of potential sliding surface of slope is determined by methods of deformation monitoring, geophysical prospecting and acoustic logging test, also rational calculation parameters are selected to calculate the safety factor of slope stability and landslide thrust force, which is in the proposed three kinds of working condition. The slope stability has carried on the comprehensive evaluation combined numerical simulation method at the same time to obtain the changes of the stress and strain of the slope.In study of slope treatment, the anti-slide pile supporting system and slope greening recovery measures are adopted while maintaining the original slope unchanged, which according to the present situation of the slope stability and the surrounding geological environment condition. The structure design and calculation of anti-slide pile, and the calculation of the slope stability after treatment is on the basis of the existing landslide thrust force. By restoring vegetation, ensures the slope of soil and water conservation. Finally the corresponding regulation, including the anti-slide pile construction, slope monitoring and contingency plans are made, carrying out a comprehensive research of slope treatment.Theoretical foundation lays for the construction project through research on slope stability analysis and treatment of eastern Daba Mountain, which guarantees the safety of the slope within the range of geological environment fundamentally, achieving the target of harmonious coexistence of man and nature. Contents of this paper also have some certain realistic guiding significance for engineering activities within the scope of the former landslide.
