The Study On Landscape Pattern Of Land-use In Xiangxi Province On The Background Of Western Development

Landscape pattern of land-use is a direct reflection which human activity and socio-economic developed to a certain stage, it being very important to research landscape pattern of land-use and handle correctly the relationship between socio-economic development and efficient use of land resources for environment and social economy coordinated development. On the background of Western development strategy implementation 15 years and the reality status of developing quickly economic, Outstanding contradiction between man and land,ecological environment degradation, this study chose developing quickly economic and ecological environment vulnerable of XiangXi as research object, used landscape ecology principle and method, applied remote sensing (RS) and geographic information system technology (GIS), through Arcgis9.3 and Fragstats3.3 software, interpreted remote sensing data of XiangXi 2000,2005,2010 and 2014, analyzed landscape pattern of land-use change in characteristics, processes and mechanisms since the implementation of the Western development strategy in XiangXi. The main results were as following:(1)Land use change in XiangXi:land use structure dominated by woodland and arable land in XiangXi during the year of 2000-2014; Woodland has been occupying the leading position in the land use which proportion of more than 70%, Indicating good ecological environment in XiangXi. Influenced by plenty of unused land utilization and converted to other uses, while at the same time year after year of urban construction land growth. But the low proportion of construction land, urbanization of XiangXi levels needs to be improved.(2) Landscape pattern of land-use in XiangXi:patch number and patch density increased with the landscape, degree of landscape pattern improved during the year of 2000-2014; landscape shape index and area weighted fractal dimension of rising regional landscape patterns of complex shapes; landscape plaque tends to be scattered, landscape separating index becomes larger and patch connectivity reduces; the Shannon diversity index increased regional landscape rich in land use, ecological structure and function of maintaining stability in the region.(3) Landscape change drivers in XiangXi:landscape pattern of land-use change in the dominant driver is the socio-economic factors; National policies, population growth, economic development, agricultu-ral production, road construction and environmental awareness both on landscape pattern changes play a major role in promoting.
