Fusong County is located in the core zone of Changbai Mountain Natural Reserve which is also the birthplace of the Songhua River. It has rich and high quality natural mineral water resources. Fusong County is one of the few high quality natural mineral water resources in China. As the most important source of mineral water, whether can get sufficient and continuous replenishment is the key to the sustainable development. Therefore, research on natural mineral water supply conditions and formation mechanism of the mineral water of the district sustainable development and utilization has a very important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper, based on data collection and field surveys in the study area, using hydrological geological remote sensing technique, regional fracture development characteristics and water conservation is analyzed. Source of supply is analyzed using stable isotope method and recharge elevation is calculated, then recharge area and the recharge source is studied. The three factors including precipitation, vegetation and human activities are studied to analyze mineral water resource amount. The age of groundwater and groundwater renewal ability are calculated using radioactive isotope method. The periods of precipitation and spring discharge are studied by using the method of continuous wavelet transform and cross wavelet analysis respectively..In term of vegetation, using three buffer zone vegetation data in 20 years, the changing characteristics of vegetation and the role of water conservation are analyzed. In term of chemical elements formation machaism, firstly, the overall characteristics of the chemical composition of mineral water in the study area were analyzed. After this, with the help of the PHREEQC software, inverse hydrogeochemical simulation of mineral water formation mechanism is analyzed. The results are as follows:1. Basalt is widely distributed in the study area, which is well developed, which provides a good space for mineral water resources. Hydrological and geological remote sensing analysis results show that faults are developed mainly north to east and north to west, then near east to west in Fusong County, to and to times, local faults development are north to south, remoting images of the fault structure around basalt are clear.2. Using the stable isotope deuterium oxygen test data, the main supply sources for the atmospheric precipitation infiltration recharge are analyzed. Recharge elevation is between the 1009 m and 1505 m. The results demonstrate that the supply source is located in the Changbai Mountain nature reserve of Fusong County, in the north and east of Lushui town, in the southwest of Donggang town and Manjiang town. The age of groundwater is about 30 to 50 years calculated by using the test results of the radioactive isotope tritium, which can guarantee the sufficient interaction between groundwater and surrounding rocks.3. The results of cross wavelet analysis show that the precipitation has a positive correlation with spring flow. As an important supply of mineral water in this area, the probability of occurrence of extreme precipitation is low, and the precipitation is not abnormal. In the next 2 years and the predicted results show that the precipitation is higher than the mean value of many years, which can provide adequate supply of mineral water resources. The vegetation in this area can provide abundant water conservation. Human activities haven’t had a big effect on the amount of mineral water, the mineral water still has a big potential for exploitation.4. Fusong County mineral water is mainly fresh water. Water chemical type is diversified, chemical elements of water change complexly, and time change of typical mineral water chemical elements is not obvious. The change will not affect water chemical types. Metasilicic acid in the region basically reached the drinking natural mineral water national standards(GB8537-1995). Inverse hydrogeochemical simulation results show that reaction of the groundwater in the area is more complex. It is not only the result of the interaction between the water rock, but also the result of evaporation, precipitation and other factors. Characteristic component in mineral water is mainly metasilicate which comes from dissolution effect between basalt in albite and illite.
