As the mainly producted energy base in Xinjiang, Junggar basin is rich in natural resources, It found a large number of coal, oil and natural gas in the basin margin.It has important theoretical and practical significance in researching tectonic evolution characteristics in the southern piedmont fault belt of Junggar Basin and the relationship of sandstone type uranium mineralization.by selecting the southern margin of Junggar basin Jurassic sandstone as the research object, according to the principle of apatite fission track, combining with the basic structure,formation and mineralization features, taked the sandstone type uranium metallogenic theory as a guide.this paper studied the relation between the southern margin structure of Junggar basin and sandstone type uranium mineralization, obtaining the following conclusions:(1) the apatite fission trace in the studying of thermal simulation show that the Jurassic formation in this region has experienced the uplift of four stages: 160-130Ma(Late Jurassic- Early Cretaceous), 105-70Ma(Late Cretaceous), 50-25Ma(Eocene-Oligocene), 10 Ma to now(Late Cenozoic).(2) the strength analysis of tectonic deformation found that the first stage is located in Liuhuanggou- Miao Er Gou area,it offered strongly deformation and has the average tectonic uplifting rate of 0.019mm/a; The second stage loacaed in Urumqi- Ganhezi, Sichang-Wulasitai and Liuhuanggou- Huoshaowa area,it offered intense deformation, the average uplifting velocity is in 0.033mm/a;The third stage is located in the Huoshaowa- Sichang,it also offered strong deformation, the average uplifting speed reached 0.161mm/a;the fourth stage of tectonic uplifting are recorded in the southern regions of Junggar Basin, it has the average uplift rate of 0.174mm/a, the later two stages are the remote effect of India and Asia collision.(3)The differential analysis of the uplifting and erosion in the south of the basin shows that the the south of the Junggar basin has been subjected to different degrees of uplifting and erosion. In the Bayingou- Sichang- Queergou,the uplifting and denudation thickness is bigger, It is more than 2880m; In the Four tree area and Liuhuangou- Miaoergou, the uplifting and erosion is relatively small, It is lower than 1000 m and is advantage to the uranium mineralization.(4)According to the characteristics of uranium mineralization in this area and the characteristics of the structure, this paper argues that the formation of the uranium mineralization of Junggar Basin is the ancient interlayer oxidation zone adding the late interlayer oxidation or diving oxidation.this paper takes four periods in the southern Junggar basin formation process of uranium mineralization:(1)Uranium source body preparation period;(2)Formation of containing ore formation and paleo interlayer oxidation zone formed period;(3)tectonic tilting formation stage;(4)uranium ore formation period.(5)Based on the formation model of uranium mineralization in different regions, three different types of uranium mineralization model in the southern of Junggar basin are proposed:(1)Qingshui River- Stone ladder area uranium metallogenic model;(2)Liuhuanggou area uranium metallogenic model;(3)Bogda piedmont uranium metallogenic model.
