Research Stratigraphic-Lithological Traps Of Sembar Fm And Basal Sands Of Lower Goru Fm (K1) In MKK Block,Pakistan

The MKK block is located in the south of Pakistan, east of India area. The purpose of this study is to explore the deep sedimentary background and Sequence in the MKK block, and Search for the favorable exploration targets in the deep zone.Using the data of seismic, logging, core, etc, we analysis and researchs the sequence of Pakistan’s MKK blocks in the Indus river basin. On the basis of sequence stratigraphic unit division and correlation, MKK blocks of the Lower Basel sand ‐ Sembar group divided into seven sequence, and sums up the different characteristics of each sequence. Analysis the sedimentary characteristics of each sequence, and point out the sequence development of the control action of sedimentary system. Research in different systems tracts and accumulation of oil and gas reservoir type and find the systems tracts of the most favorable reservoir type.
