Central China is located in China’s inland hinterland, mainly distributed in the eastern monsoon region within the scope of its precipices in temperate and warm temperate and subtropical three temperature zone, climate change is very significant at any time. In addition a variety of natural scenery and cultural heritage has created numerous quality tourism resources in central China, along with the rapid development of tourism industry, the influence of climate change on tourism activities more significant, so using ArcGIS technology research time and space distribution characteristics of central region tourism climate comfort, central to enrich tourism products, promote the ability of the scenic area management, and for tourists to obtain more high quality tourism experience to provide certain theoretical basis.In this paper, based on ArcGIS technology support, combined with the climate comfort evaluation method and the model of comprehensive tourism climate comfort, in six provinces in central China as the study area, analysis the region tourism spatial and temporal variations of climate comfort degree. This study used the central region in recent 40 years in 88, meteorological offices and stations monthly climatic data (including monthly average temperature, average wind speed, monthly average relative humidity and average sunshine time), combined with the central digital elevation model data of 30 m x 30 m in ArcGIS space grid computing support, through the ordinary kriging method respectively to spatial interpolation of above four climate factor, obtain the climate factors in central China grid map, on the basis of combining climate comfort evaluation method stack operation temperature humidity index, wind effect index and the index of clothing space distribution, and finally by the comprehensive tourism climate comfort model to explore the optimum, and try to develop tourism climatic regionalization in the studied area, in order to analysis in nearly 40 years of the central region tourism spatial and temporal variations of climate comfort.The study found:(1) the six provinces in central China years months average temperature and relative humidity, the spatial distribution of increasing overall performance for the high latitude to the low latitude area, the change rule of the wind speed and sunshine time distribution, on the other hand. (2) temperature humidity index, wind effect index and the index of clothing months comfort there is biggish difference in spatial distribution, show the wind effect index, relative to the change of climate factor response than the other two index to lag. (3) across the central region tourism climate suitability of the year change mainly showed a trend of M type change, spring and autumn season two six provinces climate comfort is higher, lower in winter and summer two season. (4) the spring and autumn season two central region tourism climate division has a very high similarity, winter and summer two season regionalization is apparent latitudinal zonal distribution.This paper will be divided into five parts:l.The introduction. Mainly introduces the research background of "tourism climate comfort", related research progress at home and abroad, and the content of this research, technical route and the style of the paper and innovation.2.A profile of the study area. Mainly for the study of six provinces in central China area natural geography, geography, topography, climate characteristics) and general situation of tourism development in five years.3. Data sources and research methods. Need data mainly to this study, the 1971-2010, the climatic factor selection and determine the data of the meteorological offices or stations and 88, and six provinces in central digital elevation model (DEM) get introduced, at the same time needed for the model and method statement for this article.4. The empirical research. Focused on in this paper, the fourth chapter, five, six, correspond to①Tourism climate comfort related factor analysis. With air temperature, relative humidity, sunshine duration and wind speed of the four tourism climate comfort climate factor as the research object, explore the central parts of the climate change trend factor in nearly 40 years of years and months space distribution characteristics.②Tourism climate comfort spatial distribution analysis. Exploration of the central region temperature humidity index, wind effect index to the months of a garment index of spatial distribution and change characteristics.③Under the background of climate comfort tourism climatic regionalization. Combined tourism climate comfort model across the central region of the suitability of tourism, tourist optimum, according to the tourism suitability category of six provinces in central tourism climatic regionalization.5. Conclusion and prospect. In the conclusions of this paper, and show the shortage and outlook.
