As a kind of true 3D stereo display technology, holography can not only reconstruct the three dimensional image in space and provide the real depth for the human, but also be viewed with the naked eye. It is one of the most potential and the developmental technology. However, there still exists some problems that limit the development of Computer Generated Hologram (CGH), one of the primary reasons is the computation speed of CGH. To solve the problem above, an optimization algorithm is proposed by the paper. Meanwhile, the computation of complex three dimensional dates also limits the use of CGH. We also provide preliminary a solution to the problem.Firstly, on the basis of CGH, three algorithms of Fresnel diffraction, Fourier algorithm, angular spectrum algorithm and convolution algorithm are discussed. The advantages and disadvantages of the computation time and the quality of reconstruction image of the three methods are discussed by the numerical simulation using MATLAB.Secondly, the different algorithms of three dimensional CGH are discussed in detail. On the deep study of point source method, look-up table and novel look-up table method, a novel look-up table method based on the principle of stationary phase is put forward. Through analysis and comparison of the reconstruction results of different computation methods, it shows that the novel look-up table method based on the principle of stationary phase can not only improve the problem of the novel look-up table that occupies so much space, but also can increase the speed of three dimensional CGH. It will provide credible foundation for real time CGH.Finally, the actual 3D object is reconstructed by computer numerical simulation and LSM photoelectric display respectively. First we use 3D scanner to collect the dates of the actual object. Then 3Ds Max software is used to render the 3D date to the intensity map and depth map. We use MATLAB software to read the grey scale information of the depth map and call the data information of the intensity map according to depth information coordinates of the depth map. Then the hologram is generated by Fourier diffraction angular spectrum algorithm and the hologram is reconstructed by numerical simulation and photoelectric display. The results are satisfactory and it provides a good reference for the CGH of actual 3D object.
