The heterogeneity character of reservoirs is mostly inner cause affecting oil, gas and water seeping and oil and gas recovery radio. The macro-scale heterogeneity of reservoirs included horizontal heterogeneity, Interlayer heterogeneity, Interlayer heterogeneity and heterogeneity of porosity and permeability. This thesis is based on sequence stratigraphy, sedimentary petrology, petroleum geology theory. After fully digesting and absorbing the results of previous studies, the original layers are subdivided in monosandbody rank. Combining with the core, logging, analysis of laboratory data, the sedimentary micro-facies characteristics and evolutionary laws of the study area are researched, the reservoir macroscopic heterogeneity is analyzed detailedly according to the logging data. These researches provide a reliable geological basis.Reservoir heterogeneity has a significant effect on exploration of oil-gas fields.This paper is refer to the research of fine formation model, method of quantitative characterization on reservoir heterogeneity, and research on heterogeneity in Silurian of 34 th Well Area in YM. The study of heterogeneity includes area heterogeneity, intraformational heterogeneity, and intrabed heterogeneity. Area heterogeneity is about the distribution in plane, which includes connectivity, permeability and the thickness of sand body. Intraformational heterogeneity consists of interbed and characteristic of permeability; Intrabed heterogeneity is about analysis of barrier bed. This study plays an important role at the guidance of reservoir development.Reservoir heterogeneity of The 34 th Well Area of Silurian in Yingmai Oilfield was studied by using log data and digital pressing achievement, size analysis, cast sections and SEM photos. The results are helpful to the research of reservoir and adjusting production of oilfield development.
