After oil field put into production for a period of time, formation oil saturation will change, partial reservoir stratum water flooding is serious, its effect on oil and gas production, So it is necessary to monitor the reservoir in the time.In the open hole well, the convention electrical logging is subject to limitations, but RPM well logging technology is an effective method to evaluate formation residual oil saturation in cased hole.In this paper, it is based on some oil fields in the South China Sea and Bohai sea area to conduct research, the aim is to find a way to calculate the formation residual oil saturation accurate, and make sure how water flooding seriously of the formation.Through analysis the logging curve quality control-. environmental impact factors and formation parameters evaluation model, then find a residual oil saturation evaluation model apply to target area, finally to evaluate the level reservoir water flooding.In the part of the curve quality control,based on the method of repeated evaluation, the method of curve correlation is proposed to evaluate the quality of the curve is put forward. The results of the method can meet the needs of production.In the part of environmental impact factors analysis and correction,through the logging principle and data processing, analysis the influencing factors existing in the process of logging, combined with theoretical chart to modify the shale content> cement sheath which impact on logging curves, it is proved that the effect is apply to the target area.In the part of formation parameter evaluation, analysis the significance of some RPM logging curves, and find a way to calculate shale content and formation porosity with core data and SGFC curve and RATO curve respectively.The result of calculation is match the core analysis.In the section of remaining oil saturation evaluation, through the comparison and analysis of the existing carbon oxygen ratio logging and PNC logging interpretation model, combined with the actual geological and reservoir features of the target area, to find a model which is apply to arget area.At the same time, the method of determining the relative parameters in the model of C/O and Si/Ca overlap method is proposed by using the log data of pure water layer.In the section of water flooded layer evaluation, HC curve of RPM logging and resistivity curve of open hole are used to identify the water flooded layer mainly.Then the calculation method for relative permeability of oil phase and water phase is established by the phase permeability data of oil field, and then calculate water production rate with the remaining oil saturation.Verification of actual data,the residual oil saturation water flooded level is match with actual production situation.The research results of this paper can provide scientific theoretical basis for the adjustment of oil field development plan.
