Shale gas is a kind of clean and efficient unconventional oil gas resource with self-generating and self-preserving. The shale gas resources in China are rich, and the distribution is wide, and the exploration prospect is considerable. At present, we have carried out the research on shale gas exploration and development, which is of great significance to ease the tension of China’s energy, and will bring direct social and economic benefits for China. The shale phase was low resistivity compared with the most of surrounding rock, and the resistivity of gas bearing can be increased, which provides a physical basis for the exploration of shale gas by electromagnetic method. This paper discusses the application of oil and gas exploration by integrated geophysical prospecting method in the jiaoshiba zone. Integrated geophysical exploration is mainly with the elastic, electrical, density and magnetic characteristics of the lithology as the basis, and research the response mechanism and characteristics of the geophysical fields (gravity, magnetic, electric, seismic) of complex reservoir, and then get the structural features of the underground reservoirs by the collected geophysical data processing, inversion and interpretation.
