After decades of exploration in Jiangsu oilfield, there have found a series of low permeability oil-bearing blocks. At present, there have been not relevant logging interpretation methods for lacking of enough recognition to the formation mechanism and the laws of accumulation. It makes the interpretation more and more difficult, which affect the indepth development of exploration. Therefore, research on logging interpretation methods of low permeability reservoirs in Jiangsu oilfield is very important.In this paper, we take the reservoir of Ef3 of Gaoyou depression as the research target, combining the research to the formation mechanism and sedimentary microfacies, at the same time combining the geology and logging, we take logging comprehensive evaluation research based on the different types and blocks. We mainly take researches on the essential characteristics of permeability reservoir, including sedimentary, rock and mineral, pore and throat; after looking for the main critical elements, we take categories by combining the research of the causes; we divide the reservoirs of Ef3 into three layers by the data of geological information, establishing the interpretation models of effective porosity, permeability, saturation; we also take research on the lower limit of the effective reservoir and take futher reservoir categories by using the comprehensive evaluation index combining with the logging reservoir parameters and testing data, realizing the effective combination of geology and logging. Futhermore we take the fluid identification and select methods to the low permeability reservoir. According to different blocks with different cause, we optimize fluid identification method that is suitable for the reservoir types and has a good application effect. In the end, it formed a set of comprehensive technical means to identify fluid properties.The corresponding interpretation methods proposed in this paper aiming at the low permeability reservoir of Ef3 in Gaoyou depression, making the relative error between the reservoir’s quantitative results and core analysis results reach the industry standard, the coincidence rate achieved a good result, obtaining a effective application effect.
