Method of Moments(MoM) is a very important numerical method in computational electromagnetics. Due to its nice behavior on accuracy, versatility and efficiency, it has been widely used in electromagnetic scattering and electromagnetic radiation problems. It helps us reach a better understanding on the principles of some electromagnetic phenomena by analyzing the obtained numerical solutions. In many reasearh areas and engineering applications, field distribution is often of great interest. However, the computation of the field distribution from the equivalent currents obtained by MoM is always time consuming. To solve this problem, we propose a method for obtaining field distribution by the impedance matrix in MoM. When we use this method to calculate the near field generated by source, no additional singular treatment is required. In addition, the computing process can be accelerated. The method permits an acceleration. We applys the proposed method to radiation problem where excitation can be modeld by a magnetic loop. The paper introduces some basic theories and knowledge associated with MoM first, including the general process of MoM, the property of RWG basis functions, and the detailed process of solution for metal target. Then, the specific implementation as well as the main idea of the proposed technique is discussed. By a number of examples, the proposed method is validated numerically. And then, radiation problems associated with dipole and monopole antennas are employed to show the capability of the proposed method in engineering applications.
