As one of China’s largest inland basin, Ordos Basin is China’s earlier development of large composite basin and it contains abundant oil and gas resources. Huanjiang Oil Field is located in the western margin of Erdos Basin,since the Huanjiang Oil Field put into development,the formation energy continuers to decline,fast production decline of oil and gas has become the main contradiction of restricting stable yield. It is necessary to find favorable reservoir to increase oil production.The chang 9 reservoir is one potential reservoir of Huanjiang Oil Field.Low position and Sediment accumulation due to the problem of oil-water identification. It is necessary to do the secondary logging interpretation study to improve the logging interpretation coincidence rate.Based on the minute division and comparison of target reservoir in research area and analysis the characteristics of the target strata further, such as rock and mineral component, reservoir physical properties, pore types and structure, the sensitivity of reservoir, reservoir fluid etc, and make a comprehensive classification of target reservoir.Base on a comprehensive analysis of geological data, well logging data and developed block data, then study the relationship between lithology, physical properties, electic properties and oil bearing properties of target reservoir, and establish logging interpretation models of porosity, permeability, saturation and shale content, then using empirical statistics combine with porosity and permeability cross-plot to ascertain the lower limit of reservoir, base on the relationsip between the four kinds of properties as well as various log data and core information of key wells, we use resistivity increment method, resistivity gradient factor of array induction method, differential analysis method to identify the fluid in reservoir, checking the logging data interpretation results, the accuracy of interpretation is improved and providing a scientific basis for the development of the research area.
