Magnetic basement is the top interfaces of magnetic stratigraphic, and these interfaces directly affect the morphology, structure and properties of sedimentary basin. So the magnetic basement to research the formation and evolution of the basin, and to study the distribution of mineral resources have extremely important theoretical and practical value.In this paper, the research content is the space domain magnetic interface inversion method. Spatial domain magnetic interface inversion method has the advantage of high precision results. In the forward aspect, the forward formula for computing the magnetic interface magnetic anomaly were derived, the forward modeling of magnetic interface problems were resolved. In the inversion aspect, integrated predecessors inversion method in spatial domain, by choosing different average depth to complete the inversion of theoretical magnetic anomaly, through error analysis, think had a greater influence on the selection of an average depth of the inversion results, when the inversion calculation, need according to the constraint conditions to select a reasonable average depth.In the end, We use the method to solve the inversion of magnetic basement of northern south China sea, and got the depth of the magnetic basement, Proved that the method has certain adaptability.
