This issue derives from the National major project of oil and gas of Shengli Oilfield《The Demonstration Projects of Low Permeability Thin Interbed Oilfield of Shengli oilfield—Research of Description Technologies of Low Permeability Thin Interbed Reservoir》 and the project of mineral resources and comprehensive utilization《The low permeability reservoir utilization demonstration bases of Shandong Shengli Oilfield》. Beach bar sand body oil reservoir has huge growth potential and have become a rapid growth point for lithologic oil-gas reservoirs. At the same time, it has some characteristics-deep depth, low resolution, thin thickness for single layer and large lateral variation which lead to great difficulties for exploration and development. Based on above difficulties, I conduct some research work about beach bar sand body reservoir prediction.On the basis of numerous literature surveys, this issue makes a conclusion about the prospecting situation of beach bar sand body reservoirs in China. In addition, I make a comprehensive analysis and evaluation from three aspects--geological characteristics、well log responses and seismic features. Through above comprehensive analysis, we can have more comprehensive understanding about beach bar sand body reservoir which can lay a solid foundation for the following researches. On this basis we come up the definition of Beach Bar Sand Concentrated Segment. It is difficult for us to identify a single sand body for the Beach Bar Sand is sand-shale thin interbedded in the longitudinal. In order to learn it better we continuous set sereval sand and shale reservoir as a whole to study, which we called the Beach Bar Sand Concentrated Segment.The Beach Bar Sand in our study area has the following characteristics 1) the depth of the study area is big and the single sand body is thin;2)the seismic data has low main frequency and the ability to distinguish thin body is poor;3)the top of Es3 is highly reflective reservoir, the signal of the beach bar sand is weak.Study show that 1) the technology based on MP can remove the strong reflection of Es3 well; 2) the technology based on HHT can exhibite the wide of frequency and improve the main frequency of the beach bar sand thin interbedded reservoir; 3)the application of HHT-MWT technology can effective describe the distribution of the sand body, which lay the foundation for the next study.The attribute of energy half time can effective portray the thin sand bady, combine the palaeogeomorphology attribute and seismic attribute can feflect the characteristics of lacustrine sedimentary shallow of beach bar sand well.Combine these effective methods to a software of ThinK, it is easy for us to use it to describe the beach ba sand reservoir which more quickly and practical.
