The article study on Dalian Island artificial reef waters in 2015 June and September 2015 and February 2016 of seawater environmental factors of the survey. To analyze the major control factors of the investigation areas primary productivity, and analyze the vertical variation characteristics of environmental factors which has effects to vertical variations of primary productivity, and analyze the relationship between light quantum and other environmental factors which has effects to primary productivity. This study will provide certain scientific basis to marine ecosystem structure and function of the situation analysis, the reasonable development of the fishery resources and the sustainable utilization, marine environmental quality assessment and the red tide monitoring and prediction, etc. The results show that:(1) Planar distribution characteristics: the primary productivity from far to offshore gradually rise from the distribution trend, and primary productivity of seasonal change is obvious, June primary productivity is highest, lowest in September.(2) The vertical variation of the primary productivity: primary productivity has the obvious water layers change, primary productivity levels became lower with the water depth increases. Three surveys appear high primary productivity in the subsurface water layer. Each water layer primary productivity and plane distribution of primary productivity has the same seasonal changes rules.(3)The main environmental factors influence on seasonal primary productivity changes: no matter the influence factors of primary productivity of seasonal changes or the influence factors of the vertical changes, some of factors, such as the chlorophyll, illumination and light quantum, the influence of temperature, dissolved oxygen and nutrient has significant effect on the primary productivity; But Nutrient mechanism is complex, different survey times different influence.(4) Light quantum, illumination, temperature and pH value(except February) is became lower with the water depth increases, and has significant difference between the water layers. The physical and chemical indicators(temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, etc.) have more relevant to water layers among the environmental factors during the three surveys.(5) There are no significant rules of light quantum and light changes with the survey time changes due to the effect of the weather. The effect of light quantum to other environmental factors underwater: the light quantum of 3 surveys has major effects to the light, temperature, pH and dissolved oxygen.
