Exploration on lithology oil-gas reservoir, for now, is the main direction of reservoir increasing. Compared to the conventional structural reservoir, lithologic oil-gas reservoirs are in possession of more subtle, more complex orderliness of forming traps, and it’s more difficult to identify and predict lithology oil-gas reservoir. The Nanpu Sag is a typical lacustrine down-faulted hydrocarbon rich depression, it’s Petroleum exploration is at the turn Point from the stage of structure trap to the stage of lithology oil-gas reservoir, with the increase of exploration degree, it’s an inexorable trend that lithology oil-gas reservoir is the main target to explore.A comprehensive study has been made to the Seismic Identification and Prediction Method Research of Lithologic Oil-Gas Reservoir from the Paleogene in Nanpu Sag, summarized geophysical identify methods which is suitable for this area. Complex strike-slip fault is developed in Nanpu sag, to study it’s space distribution, the three parameter wavelet frequency analysis method is introduced, the model and real data results show that use TP wavelet transform can get a better quality seismic data, then use the optimal frequency seismic data to interpret and combine the fault which is on different depth and area, improved the interpretation precision. Based on the TP wavelet transform result, studied the attributes which can characterize the properties of the seismic discontinuity, mainly include variance, coherence, ant tracking. The study shows that ant tracking attribute can accurately depict the seismic edge. The comprehensive application of those methods enriched the interpretation information, improved the precision of seismic data interpretation.This paper also used time-frequency method to study the stratigraphic sequence and improve the resolution of the seismic data, meantime, used wave impedance inversion to describe the space distribution of the sand, use attribute analysis can reflect the hidden information of seismic data, combined inverted result to further study the space distribution of the sand. For the igneous rock is developed in this area, study on multi-wavelet decomposition and reconstruction method has been made, the result shows that use high frequency wavelet to replace the decomposed wavelet to reconstruct, the reconstruction seismic data has a higher resolution, meantime, use the different amplitude range, we can remove the strong reflection of the igneous rock, it’s very helpful for the further subsequent reservoir research. Combine all the effective geophysical identify methods, predicted the favorable area of the western beach bar sand and eastern fan delta sand in Nanpu sag.
