Carboniferous igneous rock develops very well in the Northwestern Margin of Junggar Basin. Drilling results show that there are good hydrocarbon indications. But, the early stage exploration of this study area is mainly about the Shawan Formation of Neogene at shallow layers, reserchers know little about the Carboniderous igneous rocks. There are many difficulties in logging evaluation of igneous rock reservoirs, for example, igneous rock has complex rock mineral compositon and contents of various mineral constituents and the reservoir space and pore structure are very complex, it is difficult to identify lithology and compute reservoir parameters, complex conductive mechanism makes igneous rock fluild identification is difficult. Therefore, it is nessecery to develop correlation study about this area, to establish a suitable logging evaluation techniques system of the study area.This paper is studied on the carboniferous igneous reservoir in the Northwestern Margin of Junggar Basin. Based on the section identification, drilling core data, physical experiment, logging, oil production test, electric imaging log data etc, my thesis studied systematically on the following main contents: igneous rock identification, different types of reservoir space and pore structure, reservoir petrophysical parameters simulation, fluid identification and reservoir effectiveness evaluation. Finally it established a complete and useful logging evaluation system that is suitable for igneous rock reservoir evaluation of the study area.This paper used the thought of “step by step separation” to identify igneous rocks according to the specific igneous rock development situation and logging response of the study area. Conventional logging crossplot method, Principal component analysis and Fisher discrimination method has been used to identifiy lithology and also give identification chart about different rocks. Based on the analysis of section identification, core data, electric imaging and conventional logging data, this thesis studied different types of reservoir space. According to petrophysical experiment analysis, combined with logging response to calculating matrix parameters. On the basis of the previous study, the paper studied core analysis porosity modeling and physical model of bulk-volume rock to calculate igneous rock porosity. The correspondence of porosity simulation resuslts and core analysis are good. Besides, the paper has carried on exploratory research to study reservoirs fracture parameters and saturation calculation methods, the computing results has an error with real situation, but they can provide some reference for comprehensive evaluation of igneous rock.According to the study of comprehensive analysis of oil production test, logging and drilling core information, the fluid properties has been identified by conventional logging crossplot method and Rwa discrimination method, the latter is better at recognizing fluid. Based on section identification, logging and new techniques such as NMR, Imaging and XMAC, pore effectiveness and fracture effectiveness has been studied. Combined all the above investigation results, a useful reservoir classification standard and comprehensive evaluation system that is suitable for the sutdy area has been made.
