Metallogenic Regularitity And Prospecting Direction Of Copper Polymetallic Deposits In Middle South Of Zhongtiao Mountain, Shanxi Province

The study area is located in the southwest of Zhongtiao Mountain Proterozoic island arc zone, and its south area connect with the Fenwei rift zone. The exposed strata are mainly the Precambrian strata, this study primarily involves in Zhongtiao Group and Danshanshi Group of the Lower Proterozoic. The lithology of Zhongtiao Group is mainly composed of mica schist and marble, The Bizigou series is the major ore-bearing layer of Hu-Bi type copper deposit, some part are gold, silver, lead and zinc mineralization, which are partial formed deposits; the Danshanshi Group are mainly composed by the conglomerate and quartzite composition. The Area were undergone a long geological history, the multi-period tectonic movement and the strong magmatism. Regional gravity, aeromagnetic and geochemical data shows that the middle south Zhongtiao Mountain has great ore-searching prospects.Based on the analysis of regional metallogenic regularity and metallogenic series, the paper choose three key research areas which are Liumuzhuo-Wazhagou area, Qiyu-Liuxiandong area and Liujiacha-Zhuizi mountain area in the South-Central Zhongtiao mountain to make petrological and geochemical studies. The research shows that the maximum value of the Cu element is 893.8×10-6, the average is 29.18×10-6, the standard deviation is 12.26, the coefficient of variation is 0.42, and has two main high value zone. the maximum value of the Au element is 135×10-9 with an average of 1.26×10-9, the standard deviation is 0.60, the coefficient of variation is 0.48, and has many concentration centers, such as Liumuzhuo, Wazhagou, Heyugou, Yukou. The Ag elements of the maximum value of 5×10-6, an average is 0.07×10-6, the standard deviation is 0.03, the coefficient variation is 0.428, and has three main high value areas.Through study on the mineralization and metallogenic model and prospecting criteria, And combine with the geology conditions; geophysics, geochemistry and remote sensing characteristics, By use of the analogy analysis method, this paper delineated the three prospecting target areas that are Liumuzhuo-Heyugou; Laojunmiao-Zhuizishan and Qiyu-Liuxiandong.
