Shale gas as a new type of efficient, clean energy, natural gas in North America, Europe and other countries of the development has been successful. Studies have shown that shale are widely distributed in China, estimates that shale gas resources between 10-30 trillion cubic meters. However, research on shale gas in China started late, the research degree is relatively late, in order to achieve large-scale commercial shale gas development also requires a lot of research work. Shale mineral composition and the properties of the mineral itself characteristics and shale reservoir property, pore characteristics and hydrocarbon content has an important relationship. Areas of the southeast of chongqing is located in the southeast of sichuan basin, is our country shale gas exploration and development of the recent research focus area. In this paper, on the basis of field survey, choose the southeast margin of sichuan basin QQ1#(# 1) shale core. under five mountains group and Longmaxi formation as the research object. Respectively by using thin section identification, scanning electron microscopy(sem) and X-ray diffraction analysis(whole rock and < 2 um graded mineral quantitative comparative study) method, the shale lithology and mineral composition and mineral composition of porosity, brittle, and the influence of hydrocarbon were studied. For the evaluation of chongqing southeast shale gas storage performance and shale gas enrichment regularity and shale gas resource calculation studies have important reference value Through this article research, mianly in the following:1) QQ1# Wu feng formation and Longmaxi formation shale rock types mainly include black shale, silty shale, dark gray siliceous shale and calcareous shale. Mineral composition mainly includes detrital minerals content(45.62%-78.35%) and carbonate mineral content(5.44%-36.65%) and clay minerals content(2.07%-21.52%). Quartz include terrigenous clastic and the generated by two classes.2) Quartz content was positively related with shale reservoir porosity, clay minerals and shale reservoir porosity for the relationship.3) Quartz content in shale and hydrocarbon content has a positive correlation. QQ 1 # generation anddistribution as well as the creek, the Longmaxi formation shale brittleness index is larger, have good fracturing for shale gas exploration is of great importance.
