Nowadays the focus of the oil exploration has shifted to the complex structure and subtle reservoirs, the quality of seismic data is more and more important. The signal to noise ratio play an important role in the seismic data and the improvement of the S/N ratio become more important. The denoising of seismic data can improve the data quality and be good to manual tracing and interpretation of horizons. It can also provides reliable data for AVO hydrocarbon detection and fractal dimension hydrocarbon detection technology.Based on denoising method, this thesis introduces the causes and impacts of common noise and studies their basic theory with simple model tests. Then we describe the vector decomposition denoising method and improved vector method. We apply vector method to the real data and analyze the denoising effects. Under the precondition of the integration of data processing and interpretation, we propose the vector denoising method controlled by seismic horizon. The main studies of this thesis are the following:(1)Based on the theory of adjacent channels are similar, vector method decomposes the seismic record into the correlation part and non-correlation part using the vector direction difference between valid signal and noise. Then suppressing the non-correlation part to achieve the effect of amplitude preserving denoising.(2)Using the Median filter technology, the vector denoising method not only improve the correlation between the adjacent signals, but also simplify calculating of related vector and improve the computation efficiency.(3)Modified vector denoising method can extend to higher dimensions and improve the accuracy of vector angle and reduce the signal distortion.(4) Conventional vector method can remove the noise that have vector direction difference with signal such as random noise and inclined interference. It cannot remove the multi-wave that related with valid signal. The vector denoising method controlled by seismic horizon uses the seismic comprehensive interpretation to monitor the process. It can effectively suppress multi-wave and highlight the usefull seismic signal. It is not a simple method, but a comprehensive process and interpretation flow and this method has a better practical value.
