This paper will summarize plenty of core data in the research area, logging data, well test data, structure, and various analysis test data, according to combination of the sequence stratigraphy and sedimentology theory, through identification of characteristics for the logging curves, a set of fine stratigraphic classification and correlation technique which is suitable for delta sedimentary system is applied to the Fuyu oil reservoir in the Yingtuo region, it has been divided into three depositional time units, and set up the uniform and fine stratigraphic framework of Yingtuo region.In order to make sure the source direction in the investigation area, according to the method of regional sedimentology and clastic heavy mineral analysis, it can be confirmed that the sediment source of Fuyu oil reservoir in Yingtuo region mainly comes from western Yingtai drainage system in the same period.Within the established fine stratigraphic framework, after the identification of source direction, it has made a detailed analysis for distribution of sedimentary facies in the Yingtuo region, the sand body is mainly underwater distributary channel sand, and mouth bar sand body appeared in local horizon.Finally, on the basis of establishing the stratigraphic framework, making sure the source direction, and sand body space distribution rule in the investigation area, it makes use of the new ideas of modern geology, such as oil and gas accumulation system, analyse the accumulation background in the region, do a comprehensive research for the characteristics and distribution of the existing reservoir, it has been identified that the reservoir type of the Fuyu oil reservoir in the investigation region is mainly structural reservoir, and partially is lithologic reservoir.
