This paper, taking the fracture of coal and rock in JinCheng HuDi coal mine as the research object.In depth analysis of the structural characteristics of the mining area, the restoration of the ancient tectonic stress field,and discusses the history of the structure evolution.Under the tectonic background for the analysis of coal and rock’crack development regularity and correlation, analysing the controlling factors of fracture development, the establishment of coal and rock’ crack correlation mathematical model.Through the ground strata fracture development degree to predict the development degree of the fractures of coal seam.Through a large number of ground and underground joint, the observation and statistics about the fold structure,combined with mining geological data.Using the method of stereographic projection, and other structural joint recovery software to recovery the stress of Hu Di mine.Through the analysis shows,we can see that the transformation of study area mainly through the force which come from three periods of tectonic stress,namely Indosinian, Yanshanian, Himalaya structure. and discusses the formation mechanism of geological structure in the area, analyzed the tectonic evolution history.In the study area, the occurrence, density, geometric features and combination pattern of the ground layer are systematically observed and statistics, and the Law of development is obtained.By using the control variable method, the control effect of the tectonic position, lithology, layer thickness and other factors on the joint development of the strata was analyzed, and the function relationship between the different variables and the rock mass density was obtained.The system observation and collection of coal sample under the coal seam fracture in the coal mine, and the development law of the coal seam fracture is obtained by using the microscope to observe the microscopic fissure.Under the same tectonic setting, the correlation analysis of the occurrence of the joint and the formation of the joint in the coal seam, the geometrical feature, the density,obtains the advantage direction of the coal and rock joint development is consistent.Through the coal and rock three axis test, it is concluded that the coal rock has relatively low Young’s modulus and high Poisson’s ratio, which leads to the relatively small width of the coal seam with relatively small width.Lower cohesion and internal friction angle, resulting in the study area coal seam cut corner crack is larger than rock shearing angle; coal and rock with low compressive strength, tensile strength, shear strength, resulting in coal fracture density is higher than that of the rock crack density.obtaining the mathematical relationship between the different lithology, the thickness of the layer and the density of the joint, the relationship between the density of the rock strata and the density of the coal seam and the mathematical relationship between the coal seam joint macro density and micro fracture density, according to the known ground rock fracture density data To predict the density of HuDi mine coal seam fracture.And use it Hudi Pichi ore 3# seam joint density isoline graph, to obtain the fracture development degree and tectonic deformation degree is consistent.It is practical, feasible, simple and convenient to predict the degree of fracture development in underground coal seam by using the data of the ground layer joint development degree, which provides basic geological data for the production of the mine.
