Geochemical Study On Beach Bar Reservoirs In Dongying Depression

In recent years, Beach Bar reservoir in Jiyang Depression have been found continuously and such reserves account for a big proportion in new reserves as time goes by. So the study on Beach Bar reservoir is increasingly important. However, the recognition on beach bar reservoirs is not enough, especially compared with other types of subtle reservoir, the degree of research is relatively lower. Therefore, the exploration on the beach bar reservoirs is restricted, it is necessary to take further study on beach bar reservoirs. At this background, the paper does research and analysis on geochemical characteristics of beach bar reservoirs in Dongying Depression, in order to support better service for further exploration in the area.Dongying depression includes Boxing, Lijin, Niuzhuang and Minfeng four secondary depressions, which has some relatives on sources of beach bar reservoir are Niuzhuang, Boxing and Lijin secondary depressions. The hydrocarbon of beach bar reservoirs in Dongying Depression were mainly from upper Es4 source rock, which was a group of excellent source rock with the organic matter of I type, and it was also in hydrocarbon generation peak with high hydrocarbon generation and expulsion intensity and offered plenteous hydrocarbon to beach bar reservoirs. From all areas full of oil and gas of Dongying Depression, it’s the upper Es4 source rock that mainly supplies the resources.Therefore, the paper has taken 37 samples from Dongying Depression of the main hydrocarbon source rocks to take tests and experiments, including group compositions of crude oil analysis, saturated hydrocarbon GC-MS, aromatic GC-MS, N compounds and carbon isotope analysis. Through the analysis of samples, as well as relevant information on the research literature shows the physical properties of crude oil, ethnic composition and the saturated hydrocarbon fraction characteristics. Based on the completion of the analysis of these characteristics, it provides a comparison of crude oil and the follow-up maternal clues. Through some relevant geochemical parameters, it provides the migration path and direction of oil and gas;and at last it shows the time and periods of time of the hydrocarbon accumulation based on the study of organic inclusions.
