The exposure of precambrain in taihang mountains is one of the earlist area which being reaserched in china, also there are many different views and understanding of this region.A NE trending tectonic-magma-polymetallic ore belt lies in this region,and more catagories of minerals of sedimentary-metamorphic as well.The study of the regional tectonic evolution has great significance in regional mineral exploration.Based on the field geological investigations,guided by the fundamental geological theories such as structural geology,gitology,petrology,geochemistry and other disciplines of therotical knowledge,combined with indoor analysis of sectonic profile,regional and mining rock chemistry,geochemical data of shihu gold deposit,this paper makes a systematic study of the regional tectonic evolution,mineralize mechanism,and prospecting,etc.Shihu gold deposit lies in lingshou county,hebei province.The area located in central Fuping uplift,east of Shanxi anteclise,North China plate.The regional formation is Archean Fuping Group which is a set of amphibolite facies of metamorphic rocks.This paper argues that its original construction as a sedimentary rock and volcanic rocks in compostion as supracrustal rock type system.This paper demonstrates the histroy of the region’s tectonic evolution,points out that the four deformation stages of Fuping cycle and the role of Yanshan movement process.Since the Archeaeozoic era,Fuping area has experienced Fuping-Luliang-Yanshan tectonic activities.The folded structure of Fuping is the main deformation stage,and the effect of luliang movement is much less.Yanshan movement was dominated by mid-acid magmatism.The regional tectonic framework composed by the nearly EW composite fold , NNE-SSW cross fold and nearly EW,NW trending fault system.The article also features on the“X”type shear-fracture system at the same time,as the main tectonic of mineralization,its development and evolution is anyalyzed,too.This paper makes a systematic research on the geological characteristic of ore body,ore fabric,rock alteration and so on.Also talks about the lithochemistry charactristic of regional magmatic rocks and major vein rock and so on.And then analyse mineralization-related conditions,such as tectonic,formation and magmatic rocks,believes that the ore bodies controlled by the tectonic strictly,ore-forming process can be divided into threee stages,the hydrothermal fluid activities has multiple phase The background of Au in Chenzhuang rock group of Fuping and Mapeng mass are higher,Au come from Chenzhuang group and Mapeng mass,Yanshan period is the main mineralization epoch.Based on analysis of ore-forming mechanism,combined with prospectiong sign and the change of grade of ore body,the article believes that shihu gold deposit has a good prospect of mineralization.
