Huangbaikeng lead and zinc(silver) deposit is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province and in the north edge of Mount Wuyi, between latitude 28°and 28°30 ’ , the main mineral resources are the lead and zinc. In the study area, the main minerals of surrounding rock are albite, K-feldspar, amphibole and biotite, and the minor minerals are quartz and auxiliary mineral are apatite, pyrite, pyrrhotite, zircon, secondary mineral are serpentine and chlorite. The main ore minerals are galena, sphalerite and other gangue minerals are quartz, calcite and fluorite. Observation about mineral deposits in the rock thin section has three mineralization phases: magmatic mineralization, air and water - hydrothermal mineralization period, mineralization of weathering. Deposit was divided into five ore body with V11, V12, V13, V14, V15, which the V11, V13 ore body are the main, Lead-zinc mine average grade of huangbaikeng lead and zinc (silver) deposit achieved Pb1.40%, Zn3.06%, Pb, Zn can be achieved the minimum mining grade, having great mining potential.Within the study area showed rhyolite porphyry granite rich silicon (70.17%~74.12%), alkali-rich Na2O + K2O (5.34%~7.24% content) features, calcium, magnesium, aluminum content in the medium to low. Enclosing rock rhyolite porphyry type in the study area is A-type granite, zircon CAMECA U-Pb model age of dating is about 157.7Ma±1.3Ma (MSWD = 0.49) and lithology of this rock is the late Jurassic (J3) rhyolite porphyry, granite porphyry etc, volcanic, sub-volcanic significant and volcanic basin can be seen everywhere within mining area. Surrounding the study area is Eby’s A2-type granite, magma derived from mantle rocks, crustal partial melting caused by the movement of the Yangtze and Cathysia old land plate through collision weld plate, close with the syn-collisional (Syn-COLG) rocks defined by Pearce(1984). Huangbaikeng lead and zinc (silver) deposit is the product of Mesozoic volcanic eruption, located in south-east - trending volcanic belt, the area has a large number of acidic volcanic rocks - volcanic rocks of output, and close with mine forming, which is assigned to the action of sub-volcanic magma. Crystallization temperature of Surrounding magma speculates Huangbaikeng is middle-high temperature hydrothermal deposits. The surrounding rock for the Huangbaikeng lead and zinc (silver) deposit is the main source of minerals, in addition to hydrothermal fluid through structure channel causing earth element migration, formation of deposits, enclosing rock itself is also highly mineralization beneficial for the development of deposits. The main types of mineralization of this deposit hydrothermolite type, porphyry, gap zone type, etc., Deposit type are porphyry-related magmatic rocks, skarn, hydrothermal-type lead-zinc deposits and volcanic rock-type lead-zinc deposit types, broken rock with altered rhyolite porphyry mineralization of strong evidence. Prospecting from deep work is to carry out tectonic stacking position at this stage, while mineralized rock itself is a focus for future exploration.
