Recently, with acrylamide production technology matured, acrylamide as a kindof chemical products got more and more notice, the application as well as itsapplication scope enlarged rapidly meanwhile, the ecological environment asproblems out. Therefore, the treatment of sewage containing acrylamide isincreasingly urgent, and the biochemical treatment technology for its no secondarypollution, and operation cost is low and microbial degradation with highly specificdegradation rate, high specific breeding rate and variability, made using strain withhigh degradation rate of acrylamide sewage become the effective means to solve theenvironment problem caused by acrylamide. In this these, the biochemical treatment of wastewater containing AM is discussed.Based on explored AM degradation influence factors, acrylamide degrading bacteriaare screened and degradation conditions are optimized, and the simulationbiochemical treatment of wastewater is done by added the AM-degrading bacteria. The conclusions are as follows:1. Three facultative aerobic bacteria strains, AM-3, AM-4and AM-5, are isolated.Through morphology observation, physiological and biochemical experiment, itindicated that AM-3was affiliated to dry sticks bacillus. and AM-5was affiliated toVariation micro coccus. According to physiological and biochemical properties and16S rDNA molecular identification: AM-4was affiliated as Arthrobacter globiformis.By single and mixed culture three kind of bacteria, AM-4indicated the bestdegradation effect, the degradation rate of500mg·L-1AM degradation rate was upto72%. The optimal primary degradation conditions on mixed of AM-4were asfollows: choose liquid paraffin for carbon sources, K2HPO4for phosphorus source, asthe auxiliary NH4Cl nitrogen source,24hours is the best degradation time,2%amountof inoculation,30°C-35°C of degradation temperature,7.0-7.5of pH,100r·min-1ofshaker rotate speed.2. Discusses the use of acrylamide, the results show that the acrylamide can be usedeither as the carbon sources or a source of nitrogen by the strain.3. Based on analysis of AM-bearing wastewater, biodegradability improvement of thewastewater was done. Using the modified SBR process, the laboratory simulation treatment on wastewater was done by the stages of anoxic and aerobic biologicaltreatment. The results are as follows:1days, the removal rate of AM is91.4%, thedegradation rate of CODcr is87.2%, NH3-N degradation rate was66.7%, and theindicators of the effluent water stabilized.
