With the formation of economic globalization, competition from machine tool marketis becoming increasingly fierce. The quick popularization of technology bridges the gapbetween different machine tool enterprises. The homogenization of products weakens thecompetitive advantages of enterprises. In the condition of diversified and personalizedmarket demand, the simplification of product has been unable to meet the demands ofinternational customer groups, which requires machine tool enterprises have to enrich theirproducts to satisfy different customers.By means of serial production design, production will be unified in a unique style, representing the cultural connotation of enterprise. It can more rapidly andcomprehensively deepen customer cognition on product. Therefore, the essence ofcompetition between enterprises is the competition of the unique spirit and value in theproduct brand. The product is material entities carrying the corporate culture, also thebridge connecting corporate and customer, which demands the product appearance designhave to make customers feel its brand spirit at the first sight. The thesis, mainly based on the production systematic theory, regards the machinetool as the main research object, systematically analyses machine tool productionidentification system both at home and abroad. The thesis also puts forward a new designmethod and principles of machine tool product identification system. Finally, according to research results, the thesis analyzed the Spark Group productidentification system and formulated a Spark Group product identification system designspecification. It provided the basis for subsequent product appearance design, shaped theSpark Group new product image and enhanced users’ awareness and marketcompetitiveness.
