Because of the good characteristics of supercritical, Supercritical CO2has beenwidely used in microcellular plastics foaming process. Solubility data of CO2in thepolymer is an important indicator of foaming process. But, the solubility data isscarcity and foam plastics manufacturing process is difficult to accurately at present.Research of supercritical CO2in polymer solubility has great significance andprospect. The solubility experiment requires very high conditions, and the experimentdevice belongs to high pressure chemical container, the device’s strength isparticularly important. So strength checking of solubility experiment device isessential for meter container solubility measurement before the trial.This paper collected five higher prediction accuracy semi-empirical model andthe solubility data of10kinds of polymer. After calculated model with theexperimental data fitting equations, the results showed that complex degree and theequations of variable affect the semi-empirical model prediction effect. After analysisand compare semi-empirical model prediction effect, the results showed how tochoose the semi-empirical model to predict the solubility of polymer. This paperdesigned a solubility experiment scheme which is based on volume measurementmethod, and designs the main pressure vessel equipment through predictioncalculation.Traditional design process mainly relies on the strength design criterion,increasing the safety factor of the design to ensure the reliability, adding the containerwall thickness to ensure the requirement strength. The high pressure container is veryheavy, and it waste a lot of material. Using ANSYS software for intensity checkingcan make getting the stress distribution and deformation condition under thecomprehensive load pressure vessel more easily, finding the maximum stress and thedangerous section more quickly. It improves the reliability of design and designefficiency. This paper use ANSYS14.0Workbench to analysis the strength of the highpressure container and verify the effectiveness security of the designed container inthis paper.
