To meet the requirement of the emission standard of air pollutants for thermalpower plants(GB13223—2011), with a large number of statistics and experimentalstudy on the application of dust removal technology by domestic coal-fired powerplants, the paper mastered its present technological status and development trend inChina. Meanwhile, the paper analysed typical projects, proposing some evaluatingindicators of new-built and reconstructed dust removal equipment for thermal powerunits: Those indicators comprised characteristics of flue gas system in boiler,characteristics of coal and fly ash, site conditions, indicators of energy consumption,running resistance, investment and cost of operation and maintenance, reliability ofdust removal technology, and so on.According to the above evaluation factors to our country the main application ofthe electric technology, electric composite bag dust removal technology, thetechnology of bag-type dust collector, wet electric dust technology has made thepreliminary analysis and evaluation. Existing dedusting device to achieve <30mg/Nm~3soot emissions standards is very difficult, Only use composite bag or electricbag dust removal technology, and stable and reliable to run, to emissions standards. Forash content15%or less in the coal, high sulfur, high moisture and low resistivity ofcoal can be preferred by electric dust collector. At the same time, should also beconsidered in the design and selection of electrical precipitator effect of newtechnology, Form a complete set of wet electric dust technology can meet eventuallydust emission standard. In electrostatic precipitator can’t meet the requirements of environment protection or economy is poorer, under the condition of existing field,priority should be given to choose electricity composite filter bag in the effecttransformation. For newly built unit, when the coal ash content lower than15%, giventhe economy, give priority to with bag filter. For key environmental protection controlarea, carbon concentration requires less than20mg/m~3(10mg/m~3), under the influenceof wet desulfurization dust removal effect is not stable can’t smoke dischargingstandard, reliable guarantee for wet electric dust collector is a suggested alternative.
