This paper summarizes the application and the innovation of t Coke ovens are the mostcomplicated furnaces in metallurgical industry. Its heating process whose singlecombustion chamber intermittent with the whole furnace continuously working is disturbedby various factors; it is also one complex system with typical factor that big inertia,nonlinear and time-varying. The technology“Coke oven automatic temperature measuring”and “heating optimization control” is the one with high efficiency which monitored andmanaged automatically through the process of production of coke oven by computer. Sincethe existing problems of measuring temperature by man, this technology improved itselffrom below two sections: temperature measuring delay and large deviation by adopting the“Coke oven non-contact automatic continuous temperature measuring system” which canmeasure flue temperature online directly through fire hole on top of the furnace. Thetechnology which is combined with the advanced coke oven automatic heating controloptimization algorithm has got the better effect on oven control. After using the fullautomatic infrared temperature measurement system, the deviation is now less than±2℃,while in the past deviation of temperature measuring by man is20℃.Themeasurement process is automatically working whose data can be directly get into thecomputer system, By using the data said above the computer and automatically control theheating of the coke oven.he technology in our company and analysis the data of production and technical datacomparison. It makes a comprehensive and objective assessment of the process.While using the practical application, the implementation of the project can reduce thecoking furnace flue temperature fluctuation obviously. the oven’s average fluctuation iscontrolled under4℃and the Gas consumption also can be reduced, The energy and besaved by about1-3%.The technology which has excellent effect of energy saving has been widely used inmore than40batteries, like Baosteel, Jinan steel, Handan Iron and steel, Panzhihua Ironand steel.. The implementation of the project is abide by the national industrial policy andquite suitable for the needs of enterprise development. We can hope the promising marketand the considerable economic benefit of enterprise.
