Continuous casting crystallizer with high performance is a critical part of continuouscasting technology, it play an important role in the increasing production of steel andimproving the quality of continuous casting billet. In this paper, by taking the oscillationposition/speed control system of continuous casting mold driven by servo motor(permanent magnet synchronous motor), algorithms and simulation researches of positionand speed control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) have beenproposed. The paper also finish the hardware and software design and experimentalresearches of the oscillation position and speed control system of continuous casting molddriven by PMSM.Firstly, the general structure of non-sinusoidal oscillation simulation table controlsystem of continuous casting mold driven by PMSM and researches of PMSM control isintroduced. According to work principle and technology requirements of thenon-sinusoidal oscillation generator system of continuous casting mold driven by PMSM,the topic construct the non-sinusoidal oscillation simulation table control system ofcontinuous casting mold and finish hardware configuration of the system.Secondly, according to uncertain parameters and load disturbance problem ofPMSM, a extended state observer is constructed to observe the dynamic observation oftotal system perturbation and conduct feedforward compensation. A speed controller ofPMSM is designed by exponential fast terminal sliding mode method. The results ofsimulation are presented to demonstrate the speed tracking precision is hign and therobustness is strong.Thirdly, according to the requirement of the fixed position problem of PMSM withuncertain parameters and load disturbance, Based on high order sliding mode method, abackstepping terminal sliding mode control controller is designed. The anti-reset windupcontrol is applied to sliding mode controller for saturation resistance design to improve thestability of the system. The results of simulation are presented to demonstrate the positiontracking precision is high and the robustness is strong. and the chattering of system iseffectively restrained. Finally, According to the technology requirements of non-sinusoidal oscillationsimulation table control system of continuous casting mold driven by servo motor, thepaper finish the software design of communication and control. Experimental researchesof crystallizer position returning to zero and vibration waveform switching with castingspeed changes was carried out, and the experiment results show that the crystallizerposition can return to zero precisely and the vibration waveform switch smoothly, it alsolaid a good foundation to realize the oscillation according to the expected speedregulation.
