As the environmental pollution caused by sulfur compounds which wasproduced along with the sulfur-contain oil combustion has become more and moresevere,various countries have legislation to strictly limit the fuel oil of sulfur content.However, there are many defects in the conventional hydrodesulfurization(HDS)process and is less effective for deep desulfurization.Oxidative desulfurization (ODS)is drawing significant research interest because of its high desulfurization efficiency,mild reaction conditions, low operating cost process.This paper focuses on researchheterogeneous hydrogen peroxide oxidation desulfurization, and probes into thecatalyst in heterogeneous oxidation system’s influence on the desulfurizationefficiency.In this paper, a series of tungsten and molybdenum load on the mesoporousmaterials SBA-15catalysts with different Si/W or Si/Mo molar ratio were preparedby hydrothermal methods. and characterized by XRD, SEM and etc. The preparedcatalyst was used in oxidation and extraction desulfurization of gasoline and modelgasoline.The results showed that, tungsten species with the modified zeolite activityis relatively high, the catalyst which molar ratio of Si and W is20showed higheractivity in oxidative desulfurization than others. In the reaction system the optimizedconditions were: catalyst dosage60mg, reaction30min, reaction temperature60℃,the molar ratio of O/S is30,volume rate of simulated oil is1.25and the sulfur level ofgasoline can be lowered from1210.83μg/g to2.78μg/g after extraction of four times.The desulfurization rate is as high as99.77%.What’s more, in this paper the oxidation and reduction methods were used forthe modification of activated carbon(AC),with AC and H2O2as catalyst and oxidantrespectively.The original and modified samples were characterized by Boehm’stitration, FT-IR, Nitrogen adsorption isotherm and BET. The modified AC was usedin oxidation and extraction desulfurization of gasoline and model gasoline. Theexperiments show that,30%(mass) aqueous solution of sulfuric acid and potassiumpermanganate mixed after processing of the activated carbon showed the best catalytic oxidation desulfurization performance.Under the certain reaction conditions,the oxidation desulfurization of thiophene simulation oil rate was90.25%and forFCC gasoline desulfurization rate reach80.86%.
