| Titanium alloys are widely used in aviation, aerospace, shipbuilding and otherimportant areas because of a series of advantages such as small density, strongcorrosion resistance, good weld ability and so on. high size accuracy and surface qualityof titanium alloy parts are required in these areas. However, titanium alloys is difficult-to-cutting metal, tool wear extremely easily occur in cutting process, real-time tool wearmonitoring has great significance for improving the dimensional accuracy and surfacequality of work piece. Tool wear features will change along with tool wear process, it isthe key to accurately monitor tool wear that features which are sensitive to tool wear areextracted. Therefore,the law of AE signal is studied with the change of cuttingparameter and tool wear, tool wear features are extracted based on which a set of toolwear on-line monitoring system are developedBased on the characteristics of various method of monitoring tool wear and finalcutting of titanium alloy, general building scheme of experimental system is established.at the same time, the law of AE signal is studied with the change of cutting parameterand tool wearIn view of the characteristics of toolwear features which has strong correlation withtoolwear and are less affected by cutting parameters, acoustic emission signal featureswere acquired which reflect the state of tool wear by the method of wavelet packetdecomposition. the corresponding relation between tool wear features and its value wasstudied and tool wear value prediction formula is established. The parameters of supportvector machine (SVM) were optimized Using extraction tool wear features based on thegenetic algorithm, the support vector machine (SVM) model of cutting tool staterecognition was established and test was done to the model use the extracted samples,the test results showed that the model had good recognition effect.Based on mixed programming of Labview and Matlab,on-line monitoring systemwas developed. the monitoring performance of tool state on-line monitoring system wastested by cutting experiment,the results showed that the system had good monitoringaccuracy of tool wear. |
