Difficult-to-cut materials because of their excellent mechanical properties has become aerospace and civilian industrial areas of promising material, but because of its poor processing property, restricting the promotion and application of such materials. High speed cutting technology as one of the effective processing technology of hard processing material, high speed cutting mechanism of further study of difficult-to-cut materials plays an important role in basic theoretical research in high-speed cutting, high efficiency and low consumption for processing difficult materials also has an important role in promoting. In this paper, the finite element simulation software Abaqus/Explicit6.11, with hardened bearing steel Gcrl5as the research object, creating a high-speed orthogonal cutting finite element model; Theoretical analysis, finite element simulation and test data combined method of high-speed cutting process study, the main contents are as follows:This selection of the arc tool for simulation, analysis of high-speed cutting process, different cutting parameters, tool parameters and influence of the coefficient of friction on the cutting force, cutting temperature and shear angle and in-depth analysis of its causes; adiabatic shear theory, proposed high-speed cutting serrated cutting conditions of critical judgment based; proposed aliasing frequency, jagged scales measure, serrated and serrated corner apex to describe geometric features three serrated chip, and analyzed cutting its influence law;Through simulation study analyzed the formation of serrated chips and adiabatic shear band and give a reasonable verification and interpretation; Studied the cutting thickness, rake angle, and mechanical and physical properties of the material impact of the serrated chip.In this article, part of the simulation results by cutting parameters are compared with existing experimental data, both have a good match, verify the finite element model was built to a certain extent is reasonable. Using the finite element simulation to improve the accuracy of the test can replace part of the Institute brought inconvenience to promote in-depth study of the theory of high-speed cutting.
