Partial-size tunneling boring machine is widely used in coal mine tunneling, but it will be appear the phenomenon that the machine’s cut tooth wear severely and replace frequently when the machine is used in tunneling hard roadway. In order to use the advantage of TBM cutters breaking rock, it needs to reduce the structure size of TBM cutter and reasonably arranges the cutter to the cutting head body, and study for the effect of small cutter breaking rock performance when the cutter changes the structural parameters and working parameters. According to the results of this research, it provides theoretical basis for further research on the disc cutter type partial-size tunneling boring machine. This paper summarized the research status of cutter breaking rock at home and abroad. Proposed study the numerical simulation for the small single blade disc cutter’s structure parameters and operating parameters changing affect it breaking rock by ABAQUS software. According to the structural characteristics of disc cutter and rock breaking mechanism, established the finite element model of disc cutter breaking rock by ABAQUS.17inch cutter breaking rock model as an example, the cutting force of17inch cutter breaking rock is gotten by simulation calculation. According to compare the simulation results with the cutting force experiment results and cutter breaking rock prediction formula results, the simulation results are consistent with other results. Verify the rationality of the model established in this paper.By changing the structure and working parameters of the cutter in the finite element model, the width of blade, the blade angle, cutting depth and cutting speed of single factors on small disc cutters effect the cutting force and the crushing width of cutter breaking rock are studied, obtained the curve of the action of cutting force and the crushing width with blade width, blade angle, cutting depth and cutting speed; Analyses the effects of different diameters in the same cutter single factor effects on the cutting force, gotten the corresponding consolidated curve, which can directly reflect the structural parameters and working parameters effect on the cutting force; study on the situation of the cutter structure parameters and cutter spacing joint effect on cutter breaking rock, got the line chart of rock breaking depth by different structure parameter cutter with cutter spacing changing; then using orthogonal experimental technique to study the force change of disc cutter breaking rock when structure parameters and operating parameters and the interaction of five factors effects on the cutter, got the sort impact of influence factors effect on disc cutter breaking rock and optimal portfolio.Through the above research can provide a theoretical basis that analyses the structure size of cutter which applied to partial-size tunneling boring machine and distribution, mechanics and strength. |
