China’s coastline is over3,200kilometers. With regional and marine resources, coastalarea has been the most developed regions in social and economic development. As China’srapid economic development, the coastal marine environment is also affected heavily.Currently, whether regional or coastal estuary region have suffered varying degrees ofenvironmental pollution and ecological destruction in our country, which is cities nearbywaters, bays and estuaries. Organic, inorganic and heavy metals are the main pollutants. The Bosea region is the simulation area, and the software mike21is selected to makenumerical simulations, and the hydrodynamic module and AD module are selected to study apollutant of COD. Six input sections of the rivers into the sea are selected, Chaoriver section,Tiaoriver section, Old Yellow River section (the Diaokou river), the Yellow River(Qingshuigou flow path) section, Yongfeng river section and Xiaodao river section. The ofdifferent flow and pollutant concentrations at six different upstream section are set in thisnumerical simulation to form a multi-set research program.Change research of pollutant concentration in rivers and estuaries. Six input sections ofthe rivers into the sea are selected, Chaoriver section, Tiaoriver section, Old Yellow Riversection (the Diaokou river), the Yellow River (Qingshuigou flow path) section, Yongfengriver section and Xiaodao river section. Different flow and pollutant concentrations at sixdifferent upstream section are set in this numerical simulation to analyze pollutantconcentration change in channel and river mouth.Transmission range research of different flow and pollutant concentration. In oldYellow River, flow of the upstream section is constant, and upstream pollutant concentrationis higher to simulate. Then initial concentration of pollutants is constant and the inflow ofupstream section is higher to simulate. Analyze and compare the calculations in this research.Research of pollutants propagation characteristics in estuarine. In order to study thedifferent rivers in the Yellow River Delta into the bosea, namely the relationship betweendifferent locations and pollutant inflow direction, constant discharge and pollutant are set in every rivers. Separately analyze the direction of propagation of pollutants into the sea in northand east coast, and analyze pollutant transport direction at the high and low tide time.Research of pollutant propagation characteristics in offshore. In order to study theimpact of current on the pollutants propagation direction, point F1, F2, F3, F4, F5at-5m andT1, T2, T3, T4, T5at-10m are selected around the Yellow River Delta. Each point is set tosink term has a certain concentration of pollutant and taken separately numerical simulationto analyze pollutant transport direction during the high and low tide. The results of this study may provide a favorable reference for current and coastal waterpollution.
