Offshore platform is the base of production operation and activities at sea, the environment of which is very bad. The structure damage of offshore platform will do harm to the platform staffs personal safety and cause great economic losses and serious marine environment pollution. Health monitoring of offshore platform will ensure the safety of its operation state and it’s a very important and meaningful work.By parameters analysis and waveform analysis of the acoustic emission signal collected during the specimens tensile process, whcih were made of simulation platform material Q345, the mechanical process and the internal damage of specimens were associated with acoustic emission signal, the position entropy in tensile process was calculated to make quantitative description of the damage in the tensile process, the change law of position entropy during tensile process under different stress state was obtained, provide the experimental basis for acoustic emission monitoring for offshore platform.By acoustic emission monitoring the damage experiment of offshore platform T tube node, and making parameter analysis and waveform analysis of acoustic emission signal, get the signal characteristics of different damage stage。And by clustering analysis, the acoustic emission signal for T type welded pipe node damage monitoring, provide reference for damage monitoring of T type welded pipe node and the identification of different damage stages.In this paper, according to the structure characteristics of offshore platform, damage forms and the global and local attenuation rule of acoustic wave propagation, made optimization arrangement for acoustic emission sensor, put forward a reasonable set of acoustic emission sensor arrangement, and add wireless stress system to facilitate monitoring. Integrating the actual working condition of offshore platform, design a set of acoustic emission monitoring system for the offshore platform, and wireless acoustic emission technology was applied to it.
