Daqing Placanticline is located in the central depression in northern Songliao basin subsidence whichis a complete two stage tectonic units in the north of Songliao Basin and also a large-scale anticline in thewest of Qijia Gulong depression and east of Sanzhao depressoin, it is the main area of deep well drillingwhose purpose stratum are Putaohua and Fuyu reservoir with5-8degrees dip in varying degrees from nen1to the Qingshankou formation. We recognize that improving the drilling speed in the area and drillingtechnology is the key to ensure the smooth implementation of the drilling by drilling practice for manyyears. Based on existing anti-deviation technology for vertical wells, it is necessary to develop slide androtary drilling techniques for inclined stratum in order to improve the Daqing Placanticline area drillingefficiency and save the drilling cost.This paper analyses reasons that cause hole inclination and research on the mechanism that lead towell inclination based on different BHA and drilling parameter. To looking for an optimized BHA fit to thearea to prevent from well inclination while keeping faster ROP. At the same time, a kind of Lateral teethPDC bit and0°motor are used to keep hole straight and keep faster ROP. This plan was applied in15wells.Hole inclination qualified rate is100%, success rate that hole inclination are under controlled is93.3%,average ROP reach to16.37m/h, Average drilling duration is13.82days. This method help us to realize theeconomic benefit and get experience on keeping faster ROP with hole inclination under control.
